We’re hiring an engineering manager with a proven track record of building and delivering native applications. You will lead people, delivery, and architecture for iOS/Android clients and their supporting services. You will also contribute to technical development and drive platform readiness, performance, accessibility, and release excellence across native. You will work with many teams to set shared goals and communicate decisions to diverse audiences.
What you will accomplish:
- People leadership: hire, onboard, mentor, and grow engineers; set goals, provide feedback; build an inclusive, psychologically safe culture.
- Delivery accountability: own roadmap, prioritization, and execution; unblock dependencies; drive timely delivery with clear scope, risks, and status.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership by developing client–service architecture, coding standards, and quality. Review design documents and make technical decisions on trade-offs. Ensure CI/CD, automated testing, and release readiness.
- Operational excellence: uphold reliability and crash-rate goals; lead incident response/RCAs; monitor production health and triage issues.
- Cross-functional partnership: collaborate with PM, Build, QE, Services, and partner orgs to deliver outcomes that move the business.
What you will bring:
- 7+ years building native apps; 2+ years leading/managing engineers; production ownership of iOS/Android features.
- Observability approach; focused debugging and data-driven decisions; strong communication and collaborator management.
- Dedication to accessibility, privacy, and security standards in production.
- Experience with Swift/SwiftUI/UIKit and/or Kotlin/Compose; strong grasp of concurrency, client persistence, and modern app architectures.
- Experience with Service/API fundamentals: REST/GraphQL, contract-first development (OpenAPI), reliability, caching, and auth.
- Experience withCI/CD and release: Xcode/Gradle pipelines, test automation, rollout/ramp strategies, crash/perf tooling.
