Job Summary
The Engagement Lead is responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring successful delivery of projects, and driving customer satisfaction. This role acts as the primary point of contact between the organization and its clients, aligning business objectives with service delivery while identifying opportunities for growth and long-term partnership.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main liaison between clients and internal teams
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Understand client goals, challenges, and business needs
- Oversee project delivery to ensure quality, timeliness, and scope alignment
- Manage engagement plans, timelines, and deliverables
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, product, operations)
- Drive client satisfaction and retention
- Identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities
- Provide regular updates, reports, and performance insights to stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Communications, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in client management, consulting, or project delivery
- Proven track record of managing client engagements or accounts
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Preferred Skills
- Project management experience (Agile, Scrum, or similar methodologies)
- Experience in consulting, IT services, or customer success roles
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities simultaneously
