DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role
The Service System Product Owner Junior supports the Service Systems Product Owner in the day‑to‑day ownership, evolution, and performance of the service systems landscape. This role combines business analysis, technical coordination, and application support, acting as a key enabler of high‑quality delivery and data‑driven decision making.
Positioned as a junior role, this position contributes hands‑on capacity to document business and technical requirements, support reporting and analytics, and provide technical expertise that bridges service needs with IT delivery, integration, and application teams.
The role also supports application ownership from an IT perspective for other service‑related tools within the ecosystem, ensuring coherence, stability, and alignment with overall service system governance.
As the Global IT Service Systems Product Owner Junior, you will:
Business Analysis & Requirements Support
Support the Product Owner in capturing, clarifying, and documenting business and technical requirements.
Produce clear functional specifications, process flows, and technical documentation to support development and configuration.
Assist in breaking down requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items.
Contribute to backlog refinement and preparation activities.
Reporting & Data Support
Support the design, build, and maintenance of reports and dashboards for service performance, utilization, forecasting, and financial visibility.
Assist in data validation, reconciliation, and analysis across service systems.
Work with data, integration, and finance teams to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
Technical Coordination & Integration
Act as a technical point of contact between service stakeholders, IT delivery teams, integration teams, and other application owners.
Support integration activities between service systems and upstream/downstream applications.
Help identify dependencies, data flows, and technical impacts related to service system changes.
Application Ownership Support
Support IT application ownership for service‑related tools within the ecosystem (beyond the primary platform).
Assist with configuration changes, access management, testing, and release activities.
Contribute to incident analysis, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Work closely with the Service Systems Product Owner, PMO, Service, Finance, and IT teams.
Participate in workshops, testing sessions, and change activities.
Capture user feedback and contribute to improvement proposals.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you
The ideal Global IT Service Systems Product Owner Junior :
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Data, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
First experience (or strong internship / apprenticeship exposure) in business analysis, IT delivery, or application support.
Strong interest in service systems, data, and digital tools.
Good understanding of IT systems, data concepts, and integrations.
Ability to document requirements clearly and structurally.
Comfortable working with data, reports, and dashboards (e.g. Excel, BI tools, system reporting).
Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Curious, structured, and eager to learn in a transformation environment.
