Member of Technical Staff, Wealth & Asset Management Solutions
Implement and maintain innovative products for third-party organizations on the Anchorage platform, requiring experience with distributed systems and strong engineering skills.

As a member of the Wealth & Assets Management team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining innovative products, in a highly collaborative team, that empowers third party organizations to build their owns solutions and products on top of Anchorage platform and ecosystem.

Technical Skills:
- Participates in task breakdown, estimation, design, implementation and maintenance of Wealth & Assets Management systems.
- Writes, reviews, tests, and documents code according to Anchorage’s engineering and team standards, and practices
- Dive deep into complex, ambiguous problems, formulate elegant and practical solutions.
- Review other developer’s code to ensure consistency, reduce errors and share context across the Platform Custody engineering team.
Complexity and Impact of Work:
- Is able to work on a distributed team to deliver small to medium sized features.
- Fosters an efficient deterministic testing culture, with an emphasis on minimizing tech debt.
- Is able to break down large tasks and solve moderately complex software engineering problems, with guidance from more senior engineers.
Organizational Knowledge:
- Ensures that knowledge is shared among the team and does not position themselves or others as a single point of failure.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with the Wealth & Assets Management Solutions team and other teams at Anchorage Digital.
Communication and Influence:
- Contributes to sprint planning and task estimation and collaborates with the team to solve problems.
- Is able to communicate with different people, with different contexts and expertise.
You may be a fit for this role if you have:
- Have real world experience building complex distributed systems. We mostly use Go, however languages can be learned. We really care about your engineering skills more than any specific language or framework
- Enjoy building resilient services that can handle different volumes of work without manual intervention
- Prioritize end-user experience and business value over “cool tech”
- Genuinely care about code quality and test infrastructure
- Have developed “computer science fundamentals”, i.e. concurrency, algorithms, and data structures (Formal CS degree NOT required)
- You have real world experience building complex distributed systems
- Believe software engineering is a team activity and enjoy collaborating every single day, learning from and mentoring others
Although not a requirement, bonus points if:
- Have GraphQL API design and implementation experience
- Have gRPC API design and implementation experience
- Have a background in the finance industry
