Job Description
Eurofins PSS is seeking a Research Associate who will be responsible for scientifically-sound planning and execution of experiments in a timely manner. This candidate will work directly on a client site performing small molecule bioanalysis utilizing LC-MS/MS. The position requires commitment to the delivery of quality data, colleague interactions, independent hands-on method development and sample analysis. The role is scheduled to start in June 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extraction and analysis of biological samples, including plasma, whole blood, CSF, tissues, and excreta.
- Prepare samples utilizing different techniques, including protein precipitation, liquid extraction, and solid phase extraction.
- Perform quantitative bioanalysis by LC-MS/MS, data generation, review and presentation.
- Opportunity to perform ADME assays such as plasma protein binding and tissue partitioning skills.
- Able to trouble shoot instrument issues and preform regular maintenance.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills:
- Hands on laboratory experience in small molecule bioanalysis by LC-MS/MS
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with colleagues at various levels.
- Attention to detail and the ability to critically analyze and verify data prior to data release.
- Document study data and reports in an accurate, organized, and timely manner.
- Overall excellent organizational skills with attention to details.
- Method development and assay troubleshooting experience is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a team environment.
- Able to prioritize work and meet deadlines under minimal direction.
- Adept in use of standard software including Microsoft® Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. and with standard laboratory calculations.
- Strong proficiency in the use of analytical instrumentation, specifically with AB Sciex LC-MS/MS instruments.
- Proficiency in the use of BA software including Analyst, Discovery Quant, MultiQuant, and familiar with automation platforms such as Hamilton and multiplexing system.
Education and Experience:
- Masters Degree (or equivalent degree) in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology or related science and 0-1 years of relevant employment experience, or
- Bachelors Degree (or equivalent degree) in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology or related science and 1-2 years of relevant employment experience

This is a full‑time, onsite role operating on a first‑shift schedule (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM). Overtime is required as needed. Candidates located within a commutable distance to Boston, MA, are strongly encouraged to apply.
