About the Role:

We are seeking a Staff Technical Enablement Specialist to lead a flagship global program focused on domain specialization and technical mastery. This role is ideal for a technical professional with hands-on experience in technical field roles (such as solutions architecture, pre-sales, consulting, or engineering) who also brings strong program management and enablement expertise.

You will design and scale innovative ways for technical teams to build domain mastery and develop deep expertise across technical domains. This includes leveraging multi-signal validation of expertise, real-world experience, problem-solving, and immersive learning. Working closely with technical field teams, enablement leaders, and stakeholders, you will drive high-impact training programs that empower teams to excel in customer engagements and technical decision-making.

This role requires technical depth, strategic program design, influential skills, and execution to elevate productivity in the field. You will advance specialization, foster continuous learning, and enable teams to perform at the highest level.

Additional qualities we look for:

• Possess or be willing to develop a high degree of proficiency in foundational Data/AI concepts, including the Lakehouse Architecture.
• Experience supporting and enabling technical audiences in creating proofs-of-concept (POC) and technical solutions, with prior experience in a Pre-Sales capacity as a bonus.

• Design, implement, and scale enablement solutions that foster domain specialization, hands-on expertise, and technical mastery.
• Introduce innovative multi-signal validation methods that assess expertise through real-world application and structured learning.
• Facilitate enablement sessions, workshops, and hands-on activities that reinforce applied problem-solving and deep technical skills.
• Develop and maintain technical content, including reference architectures, solution guides, and POC templates.
• Measure impact and iterate on enablement programs, leveraging feedback and performance data to drive improvements.
• Collaborate with technical field teams, enablement leaders, and stakeholders to continuously refine and scale high-impact training programs.
• Drive adoption of enablement programs and strategies among senior leaders by proposing solutions that align with business priorities, address key challenges, and incorporate industry trends.

What we look for:

• 7+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, technical enablement, technical program management, or consulting with a focus on data, AI, or cloud technologies.
• Experience building, delivering, and scaling technical enablement programs for highly skilled technical teams.
• Proven ability to create, manage, and execute large-scale enablement programs, balancing technical rigor with structured program management.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage technical and executive audiences.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to align multiple teams toward a common goal.
• Experience in technical pre-sales roles, building proofs-of-concept, or implementing technical solutions for customers.
• Databricks certification or experience with Apache Spark™, MLflow, Delta Lake, and other open-source technologies.

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above. $153,800—$235,900 USD

Zone 2 Pay Range

$138,400—$212,300 USD

Zone 3 Pay Range

$130,800—$200,500 USD

Zone 4 Pay Range

$123,000—$188,700 USD
