Network Architect

We are seeking an experienced Network Architect to design, planning, implement, and optimize enterprise network infrastructures across WAN, LAN, WLAN, security, and Data Center environments. This role ensures high network performance, reliability, and security while providing technical leadership and architectural standards for the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Design enterprise network architectures covering WAN, LAN, WLAN, SD‑WAN, cloud environment and Data Center networking.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and secure network solutions.
• Lead deployment of new network technologies, hardware refresh, and major infrastructure upgrades.
• Oversee configuration of routers, switches, wireless controllers, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement NAC, IPS/IDS, and segmentation.
• Collaborate with security teams to embed security controls into the network architecture, ensuring compliance with corporate security standards.
• Conduct performance monitoring, capacity planning, and troubleshooting for complex issues.
• Maintain detailed network architecture documentation, diagrams, SOPs and configuration standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to network engineering teams.
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7–12 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network design and engineering/ architecture.
• Strong technical expertise in:
  • Routing & Switching (Cisco)
  • Data Center network (Cisco ACI)
  • WAN/MPLS/BGP/OSPF/IS‑IS
  • SD‑WAN (Cisco Viptela, Meraki)
  • Wireless (Cisco, Aruba)
  • Firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco)
  • Zscaler, Cisco ISE, Peplink, Microsemi, Infoblox DDI
  • Load balancers (F5, Citrix)
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, Spanning Tree, QoS, DNS, DHCP, and network segmentation.
• Experience with scripting/automation (Python, Ansible) is an advantage.

Preferred Certifications

• CCNP / CCIE (Enterprise or Data Center)
• PCNSE or equivalent firewall certifications
