Furniture Designer
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Furniture Designer to support ultra high-end residential, hospitality, and retail projects.
This role requires the ability to translate design intent into both fixed and loose furniture solutions at the highest level of execution. The ideal candidate combines strong aesthetic sensibility with deep technical knowledge of bespoke furniture production and extensive experience coordinating with luxury brands and manufacturers.
The candidate must be comfortable operating across all project phases — from concept development and brand selection through production follow-up and final delivery.
Responsibilities:
Realize and develop the design intent for both fixed and loose furniture within ultra high-end residential, hospitality, and retail projects.
Translate concept designs into highly detailed, production-ready furniture packages aligned with luxury standards.
Coordinate closely with luxury brands, European factories, and bespoke manufacturers to ensure alignment with design intent, technical feasibility, production requirements, and quality expectations.
Develop custom-made furniture pieces with exceptional precision, including detailed specifications, material selections, and construction detailing.
Integrate appliances and technical components into furniture design when required, ensuring seamless aesthetic, technical, and functional coordination.
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of:
Fillers, textures, materials, finishes, upholstery techniques, and construction methods
Bespoke furniture production processes
Quality control standards for high-end manufacturing
Manage and follow up all stages of loose furniture development, including:
Brand selection and specification
Custom design development and detailing
Shop drawing review and technical validation
Material, finish, and sample approval
Prototype development and validation
Production monitoring and factory coordination
Quality checks at key production milestones
Pre-shipment inspections and final quality control
Delivery coordination and installation follow-up
Maintain strict attention to detail while ensuring alignment with project timelines, procurement schedules, and budget constraints.
5–8 years of experience in hospitality, residential, or retail design projects.
Demonstrated experience in ultra high-end or luxury segments.
Strong portfolio showcasing completed projects with detailed loose furniture packages and bespoke pieces.
Evidence of direct coordination with luxury brands and custom factories.
Portfolio must include:
Design intent documentation and shop drawings (not only renderings).
Technical drawings demonstrating production detailing and construction understanding.
Photographs from the manufacturing process, showing factory coordination and development stages.
Images of completed, installed projects reflecting final execution quality.
Degree in one of the following (or related fields): Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Architecture, Product Design, Design Engineering, Spatial Design, Furniture Engineering, Technical Design for Interiors
