Senior tester
Join a dynamic Scrum team working on the development and testing of safety-critical medical devices that directly improve and save patients’ lives. In this senior QA role, you will contribute across the full development lifecycle, ensuring quality and compliance of complex, hardware-proximate systems in a structured and mature engineering environment. The team operates in a collaborative, fast-paced setting with strong professional standards and clear processes.
Tasks:
Participate in the development and testing of life-supporting medical devices (e.g., dialysis systems).
Design, implement, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases.
Verify and validate development outcomes across system components.
Work with both manual and automated test environments and contribute to their continuous improvement.
Prepare clear and structured test documentation.
Log, track, and document defects and support their resolution.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within an Agile/Scrum setup.
Degree in biomedical engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field (BSc/MSc/PhD).
Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing, including test case design and execution (manual and/or automated).
Basic programming knowledge (e.g., C or similar).
Working knowledge of Git and Agile methodologies.
ISTQB Foundation Level (or higher).
Communicative English skills.
Proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and collaborative working style.
Nice to have:
Experience with safety-critical systems or regulated environments.
Exposure to embedded systems testing.
Test automation experience and familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, JIRA, Gherkin, or Selenium.
Experience in Technical Lead or Test Manager roles.
Security testing experience.
