🛠What You’ll Be Doing
- Performing incoming and final inspections with accuracy and consistency
- Initiating and managing Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) to keep defects controlled and minimized
- Supporting the shop floor with real‑time quality guidance and problem‑solving
- Leading root cause analysis efforts, including completing 5‑Why investigations for repeat issues
- Filing, maintaining, and providing quality documentation as units move through production
- Updating and modifying ISO documentation, and supporting ISO 9001 audit preparation
- Implementing quality checks, tagging defective parts, and creating Certificates of Conformance
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements that enhance efficiency and product quality

📍 Where You’ll Make an Impact
You’ll support the Ludington manufacturing operations while also partnering closely with the Quality Manager and broader quality team to drive business goals and ensure that every unit shipped reflects Xylem’s high standards.

🎯 What We’re Looking For
- Experience in quality, inspection, manufacturing, or related technical work
- Strong ability to read drawings, interpret specifications, and understand inspection requirements
- Familiarity with NCRs, root‑cause analysis, and documentation processes
- Understanding of ISO standards and/or experience supporting quality audits
- Comfort working independently while supporting shop‑floor teams
- A mindset focused on accuracy, consistency, and continuous improvement
Preferred:
- Experience with quality tools, inspection reporting, or corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Background in manufacturing environments and quality systems

- The estimated salary range for this position is $30 to $34/hour.   Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills and experience.
