Brand Designer
Create branded elements for web and print, partner with the rest of the Brand Team to evolve our design system, and collaborate with other teams.
About the TeamThe Scale Interactive Brand Studio is a small yet mighty team (6 people full-time) responsible for the design and development of scale.com and the creation of original content (illustrations, icons, logos, and graphs). We design for a variety of applications including trade show booths, printed marketing materials, and digital advertising. We aim to keep the quality bar high as we grow. This is an exciting opportunity to help evolve Scale's brand.
What you'll do:
- Design: Create branded elements for web and print
- Stylize: Partner with the rest of the Brand Team to evolve our design system
- Scope: Sync with cross-functional partners to determine project specifications
- Collaborate: Work closely with other teams including our Office, Sales, and Marketing Teams
- Advocate: Encourage consistent application of brand standards
- Prioritize: Effectively prioritize and execute work given rapid timelines
Ideally you'll have:
- 8+ years of brand design experience
- Portfolio of brand design work demonstrating strong use of hierarchy, color, and form
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to leverage sketching skills to ideate quickly
- Interest in AI
Nice to haves:
- Experience working at a fast-faced startup
- Illustration ability
- Motion graphics experience
- Web design experience
Compensation packages at Scale for eligible roles include base salary, equity, and benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position, determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, interview performance, and relevant education or training. Scale employees in eligible roles are also granted equity based compensation, subject to Board of Director approval.
