About the Role
- We’re hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to own and scale Sully.ai’s multi-cloud infrastructure, delivering automated, reliable, and cost-efficient deployments across regions while standardizing developer experience and platform operations.
Key Responsibilities
Own multi‑cloud provisioning, upgrading, and reliability of the core platform
Automate everything via infrastructure as code and GitOps
Ship fully automated deployments across regions
Standardize developer experience across areas such as tooling and CI/CD
Optimize our stack’s scalability and maintain cost‑awareness for AI workloads
Hard Requirements
Senior-level experience & ability in Platform, DevOps, or SRE roles with production Kubernetes across multiple clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure), not single‑cloud only.
Proficiency with GitOps and Infrastructure as Code, including ArgoCD and either Terraform or Pulumi.
Strong coding skills in Python or TypeScript for platform tooling and automation.
Key Results (First 90 Days)
Take a loosely defined platform challenge, write the requirements, and deliver a working solution.
Audit platform, CI/CD, and dev tooling with Eng/Product; remove top blockers.
Baseline key metrics (lead time, deploy freq, MTTR, cost per token); draft a Platform Playbook.
100% infrastructure changes via IaC + GitOps; no console edits.
Automated multi-region deployments across ≥2 clouds; SLOs enforced; MTTR ↓50%.
Engineer efficiency up 80–90% on routine workflows; reduced LLM and infra cost.
