As a Senior Optimization Specialist, you will serve as subject matter expert to design, develop, deliver and improve products, programs, and services in order to optimize processes, behaviors, performance and audit readiness. You will be accountable for assigned initiatives aimed at supporting and/or ensuring quality operational delivery via efficient and effective processes, associated systems, training and communications. Responsibilities include also interpreting data on complex issues, leading teams and making good business decisions with support.

What You'll Do:• Proactively collaborate with initiative leads and management to prepare,organize, coordinate, document and/or provide the development and delivery ofdepartment products and services to a globally dispersed, cross-functionalaudience in support of business outcomes and industry compliancerequirements.• Develop varied support materials, presentations, and/or tools to supportdepartment's remit and strategies.• Proactively collaborate with initiative leads and management to develop,optimize and improve processes, associated systems/applications, training andcommunications.• Lead small to medium-scale process improvement initiatives.• Develop process improvement processes and solutions.• Identify and collate information required to assess compliance with processesand to prioritize business process improvement needs.• May review, assess and update procedural documents for overall compliancewith current processes.• Perform special projects, assignments and administrative tasks per businessneeds.• Provide training and guidance to junior team members

Education and Experience Requirements:• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification• Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to5+ years).• Significant clinical research experience in all phases of clinical study life cycle, including start-up, interimand close-out, is preferred.

In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.
