Role Overview

The Developer Relations Engineer serves as a strategic technical ambassador, driving developer adoption, engagement, and product excellence. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong communication skills to influence product direction, grow developer communities, and represent the company externally at a high level.

Key Responsibilities

• Advocate for developers by gathering feedback and sharing insights with product and engineering teams

• Create high-quality technical content including tutorials, blog posts, documentation, sample applications, and videos

• Build demos, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts showcasing product capabilities

• Speak at conferences, webinars, meetups, and community events

• Support developers through forums, GitHub issues, Discord/Slack communities, and social platforms

• Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to improve developer experience (DX)

• Contribute to SDKs, APIs, and open-source projects

• Design and deliver workshops, hackathons, and training sessions

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, DevRel,  and solutions engineering

• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., React, TailwindCSS, NoSQL, MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB)

• Experience designing and integrating APIs, SDKs, and cloud-native applications

• Proven track record of public speaking and technical content creation

• Strong understanding of developer experience (DX), developer journeys, and ecosystem growth

• Experience working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Background in AI/ML, blockchain, fintech, SaaS, or platform ecosystems

• Experience using AI-powered developer tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development and content creation
