We are currently seeking a talented Solution Architect to join our Client's team.
Our Client is redesigning how the company operates through a program called Platform 2.0. The program has three layers: process architecture, technology architecture, and execution workstreams.
The technology side is already moving (ERP selection, payments migration, commerce platform decisions). But the process architecture layer has no dedicated owner. This person will fill that gap.
They will define how our Client should work as a business, covering three areas: the asset value chain (how devices are acquired, used, and retired), the customer value chain (how customers are acquired, retained, and won back), and shared finance and accounting processes.
The deliverables are formal process maps (BPMN 2.0) and capability specifications that the technology teams use as input for their decisions.
Additional scope:
- This is a hands-on role, not a management position. The person produces the process maps and capability specs themselves.
- The methodology and tooling are already defined (Camunda Modeler, GitHub, BPMN 2.0, APQC). They step into a clear framework.
- They report to the VP Engineering / Program Lead and work directly with the CFO and CCO as business sponsors.
Berlin on-site is required for workshops and key reviews. Otherwise, remote work is fine. -> the candidate must be willing to travel to Berlin for 30% of time

7+ years of enterprise process design experience, focused on TO-BE design (not just AS-IS documentation)
Proficient in BPMN 2.0 (formal process mapping, not just swim lanes in PowerPoint)
Experience working with C-level stakeholders (CFO, CCO, COO) as process sponsors
Understands ERP, CRM, payment systems well enough to write good capability specs, but designs processes that are technology-agnostic
Fluent English (all work is in English; German is a plus)
Comfortable with Git-based workflows (process maps are stored in GitHub and reviewed via pull requests)
Nice-to-have:
Experience in subscription, rental, or circular economy business models
Familiar with APQC Process Classification Framework
Background in fintech, e-commerce, or consumer tech operations
100% remote, flexible work;
work with an experienced team of developers and continuous development of your hard and soft skills;
