Senior Partner Manager, Cloud Alliances (APAC)
Manage cloud alliance partnerships, generate sales pipeline, and drive revenue growth with 7+ years of experience in partner-facing business development.
As a Cloud Alliance Sales Manager, you will evangelize Datadog services with our strategic Public Cloud Alliances, manage lead sharing with these partners, and ultimately generate qualified sales pipeline. This is a high-visibility role with an outsized impact on our rapidly scaling field sales organization.
What You’ll Do:
- Work hand-in-hand with Datadog’s enterprise, mid-market and commercial sales organizations to grow new pipeline and revenue streams
- Identify and qualify net-new opportunities by leveraging our cloud alliance partnerships
- Enable and activate deep stakeholder relationships between all levels of our Cloud Partners
- Build, own and execute a regional Alliance strategy, leveraging substantial investment and resource bases to build sustainable long-term growth
- Generate alliance-sourced net-new sales pipeline and revenue
Who You Are:
- Experienced in 7+ years of partner-facing business development, strategic alliances, or channel sales at a cloud services or SaaS vendor
- Proven experience in working with Account Teams to drive sales engagements from lead generation to closure, effectively negotiating agreements and building long-lasting partnerships
- Talent for building joint pipeline, leveraging investments and designing creative programs and campaigns with an outcomes-orientation
- Able to quickly understand technical concepts and explain them to others verbally and in writing
- Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time
