Job Description Summary

As the Lead Manufacturing Engineer at the Changwon HRSG Factory, he/she will work for the Manufacturing Engineer team within the Planning & Fulfillment organization. He/She is responsible for supporting management of manufacturing engineering documents, engineering document review to prevent NCR driven by engineering error, Follow up trouble shooting with manufacturing & global engineering group. Additionally, he/she contributes to quality-related tasks such as BIQ, PSR, and PFMEA.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

As an Engineer you will:

Review engineering documents(E-BOM, Drawing) before manufacturing with activating engineering pre-flight check list system.
Act as the communication pivot between Manufacturing and Engineering, managing Engineering Document OTD (On-Time Delivery) and trouble shooting issues.
Create M-BOM and issue PR of raw material
Develop Manufacturing Procedures and Work Instructions based on customer contracts, applicable codes & standards, and engineering documents.
Conduct quality improvement activities including BIQ, Internal Audits, PSR, and PFMEA to resolve quality issues and enhance production quality.
Drive technical development initiatives aimed at improving HRSG fabrication and welding quality.
Actively participate in site issue resolution to ensure prompt response to quality problems.
Communicate technical details to production engineers and shop workers through the preparation of fabrication drawings, technical specifications, and direct communication.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from university
At least 3 years HRSG engineering or Manufacturing engineering or Quality experience
Fluent Business English skill

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Proficient in 3D CAD design & review
