Scale3CData Engineer
Scale Tech is hiring on behalf of a leading fintech client that is transforming into a fully data-driven digital neobank. They are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to take ownership of their Data Warehouse and Data Architecture, ensuring scalability and supporting ambitious growth across multiple markets.
What you'll do
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of the data warehouse and data architecture, ensuring scalability and efficiency
- Build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes for analytical and operational needs
- Develop and manage data integrations across internal and external systems
- Ensure high data quality and strong data governance through validation and monitoring best practices
- Collaborate closely with analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, accessible data
- Use Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, dbt, and Apache Superset to build and enhance data infrastructure
Required experience:
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP and BigQuery
- Experience using dbt for data transformation and modeling
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Practical experience building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines
- Familiarity with Apache Superset or other data visualization tools
- Experience with modern development tools (Git, Jira, Docker, etc.)
- Experience in banking or fintech is an advantage
EUR 28 - 35 per-hour-wage
