- Start every hiring need by asking: “Who are the absolute best people in the world for this role?” then build and execute end-to-end systems to identify, engage, and attract them.
- Exercise strong judgment to recognize excellence across technical and non-technical domains.
- Engineering Degree
- Experience thriving in a startup or high-growth environment, where adaptability and innovation are key.
- Experience working at organizations with exceptional talent density, including successful referrals and recruiting contributions.
- Proven track record building and executing recruiting systems that identify and attract top-tier talent.
- Demonstrated technical creativity through personal projects, open-source work, or innovative hacks.
- Comfortable with “vibe coding” and rapidly grasping technical concepts to evaluate candidates across domains.
- Deep belief that assembling high-performance teams is an engineering problem.
- Natural affinity for exceptional people, with a “people person” reputation among peers.
- Nerdy engineering background combined with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Advanced judgment in assessing excellence without reliance on traditional recruiting tools.
- Ability to design scalable, repeatable processes while executing at high urgency.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed to meet hiring timelines.
- Ability to travel for events, networking, and candidate engagements as needed.
