We are seeking a highly experienced Backend Specialist with program-level expertise to lead the standardization and governance of backend systems for the Apex platform. This is a critical role with influence across the entire program, defining architectural patterns, standardizing APIs, and managing GitHub repositories to ensure consistency and efficiency. You will act as the program’s backend “standardizer,” creating reusable solutions that streamline development and prevent duplicated work.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish and enforce backend development standards at the program level.
Supervise API architecture to ensure consistency across all development teams.
Define best practices for GitHub repository management.
Create and implement reusable patterns and frameworks to streamline development.
Oversee creation of new endpoints and backend services, ensuring adherence to standards.
Conduct code reviews and architectural assessments to maintain quality.
Collaborate with other technical specialists, such as DevOps Engineers, to ensure cohesive architecture.
Define rules and guidelines for developer execution of backend tasks.
Develop scalable patterns for multi-tenancy and multi-client scenarios.

Requirements:

8+ years of backend development experience.
Proven track record in setting standards and architecture for backend systems.
Expertise in API standardization across multiple teams.
Strong knowledge of microservices and serverless architectures.
Skilled in managing GitHub repositories and implementing best practices for code management.
Proficiency with .NET Framework, C#, and Python.
Knowledge of enterprise authentication systems and their integration.
Experience defining reusable patterns and frameworks to optimize scalability.
Ability to conduct code reviews and architectural assessments at a program level.
