Your opportunity
We are looking for a strong, commercially driven individual with an entrepreneurial mindset to make an impact and help us grow in the BENELUX!
You’ll help Mollie grow by leading an exceptionally high-performing Direct Sales team, responsible for serving the full range of our sales targets from small businesses through to mid-market & large companies.
What you'll be doing:
Define and implement a local cohesive sales strategy that aligns with the company’s business goals and market opportunities
Shape/Develop and lead GTM strategies for new products and services, coordinating closely with Product and Marketing teams within markets
Establish and manage effective relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Act as the lead negotiator in significant business deals and oversee all contract discussions.
Develop negotiation strategies for clients and oversee the negotiation process to secure profitable contracts.
Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of a high-performing sales team.
Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve optimal performance.
Meet and exceed annual sales targets through effective leadership and execution.
Use metrics and data analytics to identify trends, forecast sales, and refine sales techniques.
Monitor and analyse performance metrics and suggest improvements.
Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to the executive team.
Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new features or products.
Work closely with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency and market penetration.
Represent Mollie as a spokesperson at events and through PR such as articles, radio and video interviews
What you will bring:
A driven commercial leader with extensive sales and people leadership experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a managerial role (ideally manager of managers) (in the SaaS or fintech industry is a plus)
Proven track record of achieving sales quotas individually and through a team.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate and inspire a team.
Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to represent Mollie internally as well as externally
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships with C-Level.
Fluent in Dutch and English.
