Logistics Materials Coordinator
The Logistics Materials Coordinator ensures hardware delivery to customers, requiring logistics understanding, teamwork, attention to detail, and hazardous materials expertise.
We are looking for an Logistics Materials Coordinator to join our rapidly growing team in Midland/Odessa, Texas.
The role of the Logistics Materials Coordinator is a critical part of ensuring our hardware gets into our customer’s hands and we can successfully deploy our team to support our customer’s missions.
The Logistics team has built a white glove service that is responsible for developing and executing Anduril’s strategy to deliver hardware and software to our customers where it is both mission critical and logistically challenging. This will require a breadth of understanding logistics, the ability to work across teams seamlessly, a deep appreciation for details, and the ability to learn new subject matters quickly. As you execute on service delivery for our customers and team members, you have the unique opportunity to improve and grow our logistics capabilities. You will be charged with helping Anduril teams solve exceptional challenges, unblocking issues, and establishing procedures, all with the intention of making sure our customers missions are being met. The right person for this role has excellent organization skills as well as great attention to detail, customer service skills, and dangerous goods expertise. WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signal machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks and loading docks
- Complete Bill of Ladings and hazardous materials shipping papers for all shipments
- Ensure material movement across sites is accurately transacted for each move
- Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages
- Complete cycle counts and conduct all warehouse activities with inventory accuracy as a top priority
- Continuous Improvement: pinpointing key areas for impactful advancements within the organization
- Creation of local process documentation, standard operating procedures, and policies
- Drive inventory between multiple on-site locations and into town for additional supplies
- Travel up to 50% to other test sites & facilities for support
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS preferred
- 1+ years of experience in a high energy, fast-paced startup or logistics environment
- 1+ years of experience packaging, handling, & shipping hazardous shipments
- 2+ years forklift experience, licensed (preferred)
- {#experience-years}2+ years Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and/or other warehouse management and inventory control tooling.
- Experience collaborating cross functionally working towards a common goal
- Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects, prioritization, and planning
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to own a variety of tasks in an autonomous environment
- Collaborative mindset to assist test engineers in various operational tasks
- Excellent customer service skills to both internal and External stakeholders & ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Valid Driver’s license
- Previous experience in inventory management or operations support is preferred
- Able to lift upwards of 50lbs
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
US Hourly Range
$35—$50 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
