Job Definition:
The Financial Analyst will support the local Intercompany process, system implementations, local statutory audits and additional ad hoc tasks.
Essential Duties and Job Functions:
•The development of strong relationships with stakeholders and business partners especially Tax, Treasury & regionally accounting teams.
Work with the external auditors on the completion of local statutory audits.
Prepare and record intercompany accounting entries across multiple regions including cross border transaction involving cash repatriations, infusion and other legal entity transactions.
Manage intercompany settlement process in partnership Treasury and Tax teams.
Reconcile intercompany positions and ensure intercompany positions balance globally.
Help develop, maintain and assess internal controls related to accounting and financial reporting systems.
Recommend changes in processes and/or policies and utilize technologies that will provide efficiencies.
Develop, measure, report and consistently meet appropriate service level targets for all major processes.
Train and provide guidance and direction to global finance teams.
Maintain ledger integrity and ensure compliance with the internal company policy.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
•Minimum 3 years of relevant experience and Finance/Business degree.
• Qualified accountant with proven knowledge of accounting principles.
•Knowledge and experience of SOX Compliance.
•Experience of dealing with external and internal audit functions.
•Working knowledge and experience of Oracle or similar ERP product.
•Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, Outlook, and Word) required.
• Self-starter and able to act on own initiative and proven analytical ability and creative problem-solving skills.
•Capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously, working under pressure and meeting strict reporting deadlines.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (oral, written, presentational).
Fluency in English and Greek is a requirement for the role.
