Job Description
Responsibilities
- Responsible to grow sales revenue by achieving sales targets and margin, with ensuring year to year growth.
- Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations.
- Facilitate solving customer problems on application issues through training, information and recommendation of solutions through knowledge of competitive offerings, as well as pre-sales, post-sales, demos and executing against marketing initiatives.
- Responsible for sales activities to meet the sales goals and develop new prospects and penetrate competitive accounts.
- Setup, maintain, monitor, and cultivate accurate customer files and sales opportunities in Salesforce.com.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and seminars that speak to the customers’ business needs and applications by positioning our products as solutions to meet those needs.
- Continue to update information to the marketing team to create business development programs.
- Work closely with the service team and extended regional sales team and business units in order to promote a high level of customer support.
- Provide local support for planned customer events throughout the year. Provide feedback to management on industry trends, customers growth opportunities.
- Submit accurate and timely monthly sales forecasts. Develop a business plan through quarterly plans of action.
Academic Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Masters in Chemistry
- At least 5 years of sales experience in Analytical instruments.
- Good interpersonal and presentation skills in both verbal and written English & Bahasa Malaysia
- Have your own transport and are willing to travel domestically.
- Independent and able to work as a team.
- Computer literate, knowledge in MS Office - Excel, Word, Powerpoint
