System Engineer (AL-FNC250616 006/01)
We are seeking an experienced System Engineer with strong expertise in Wintel environments, Microsoft Azure, and Hyper-V virtualization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and supporting Windows-based infrastructure both on-premises and in the cloud, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Windows Server infrastructure (2012/2016/2019/2022).
Administer and support Hyper-V virtualization platforms, including clustering and live migration.
Deploy, configure, and manage services and workloads in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS).
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
Implement and manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and related core services.
Ensure backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes are in place and tested.
Apply patches, updates, and security configurations to all Wintel systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects and cloud migrations.
Maintain documentation for systems architecture, configurations, and procedures.
Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and respond to incidents as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3–5+ years of hands-on experience in Wintel system administration.
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (VMs, networking, storage, monitoring).
Solid knowledge of Hyper-V, including high availability and failover clustering.
Expertise in Active Directory and Windows-based networking protocols.
Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell) for automation and task simplification.
Understanding of security best practices in hybrid cloud environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-900, MCSA, MCSE).
- Experience with Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup, and Azure Monitor.
- Exposure to hybrid cloud setups or cloud migration projects.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices and change management processes
