We are seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join our world-class Database Engineering organization.

This team is responsible for the development and maintenance of a suite of industry-leading database performance monitoring and related applications.

These products improve the quality of life for database professionals by providing best-in-class performance monitoring and productivity solutions across multiple database platforms.

This position will be ideal for you if you enjoy building enterprise solutions that are architected for high scale, reliability, security, and performance, are adept at developing upon requirements through delivery to impact customers on a global scale and are also able to upskill the engineering organization by example.

You should be excited to work with multiple tech stacks, solving complicated problems on multiple products and platforms.

In this role, you will technically lead the development of our existing industry-leading solutions, and help define the future of database capabilities on our Database Performance Analyzer product

Responsibilities:

• Develop proof of concepts and productize features that leverage new database capabilities

• Lead architecture discussions and make high-level design decisions.

Own and deliver complex, high-impact features end-to-end.

• Think outside of the current technology/stack limitations to push the boundaries on what is possible and deliver feasible solutions collaboratively.

• Promote a culture of engineering excellence and strengthen the database technical expertise of our engineering and product teams.

• Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, other engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Serve as a technical mentor and role model to other engineers.

• Advise engineering and product management on technical roadmap, ensuring that the vision aligns with broader company objectives.

• Partner with product leaders to understand customer pain points and market opportunities and translate them into clear and robust engineering solutions.
