What you will be doing:

Build and maintain REST APIs and backend services that interact with SQL Server.
Design and run batch processing workflows for syncing/updating large sets of records.
Ensure processing is reliable at scale (incremental runs, safe reprocessing, handling partial failures, concurrency).
Troubleshoot end-to-end issues across API ↔ batch job ↔ database, improving performance and stability.

What you will likely bring:

Hands-on experience building APIs (auth, error handling, JSON).
Experience with batch jobs / background processing (scheduled runs, retries, handling failures).
Strong SQL fundamentals (writing queries, understanding stored procedures, performance awareness).

What could set you apart:

Professional experience in DevOps, or automation-focused roles.
