Marketing Operation Specialist
The Marketing Operation Specialist is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, process governance, and marketing system management across all 13 countries in the Central Region. This role underpins the effectiveness of both EXN corporate and vendor-led marketing activities by providing structured workflows, data management, reporting, and analytics. The Marketing Operations Specialist works closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and Vendor Marketing teams to enable scalable, efficient, and compliant marketing execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketing Systems & Automation
- Maintain data hygiene, contact segmentation, and DOI/compliance adherence across all countries.
2. Process Governance & Compliance
Define, implement, and optimize marketing processes according to the Central Region SOP, ensuring campaign planning, content approval, and vendor collaboration are standardized.
Ensure adherence to GDPR, and other local marketing regulations.
Implement SLAs, track campaign delivery timelines, and maintain quality standards across all marketing activities.
3. Reporting & Analytics
Monitor campaign performance, marketing KPIs (MQLs, SQLs, MGO, CPL, CTR, OR), and overall marketing ROI.
Provide actionable insights to marketing leadership and vendor marketing managers to optimize campaigns.
Support end-to-end lead management and handover processes, including interim manual workflows until system integration is completed.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with Vendor Marketing Managers and Digital Marketing Manager, to align operational workflows with marketing strategy.
Ensure smooth communication and adoption of operational best practices across all 13 countries.
5. Project & Campaign Enablement
- Support campaign planning, resource allocation, and operational execution for both corporate and vendor campaigns.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in marketing operations, campaign execution, or marketing automation in a B2B/technology environment.
Strong knowledge of marketing automation tools (HubSpot preferred) and CRM systems.
Understanding of data management, lead scoring, and reporting best practices.
Highly organized with process-oriented thinking and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills; fluent in English, additional Central European language an advantage.
KPIs / Success Metrics:
Data accuracy and DOI compliance (% of contacts clean & compliant).
Marketing system uptime and proper workflow execution.
Quality of reporting (accuracy, completeness, actionable insights).
Operational support effectiveness as rated by internal stakeholders (vendor marketing managers, digital marketing, sales).
Reporting & Alignment:
Reports to the Head of Country Marketing/ Operations
Collaborates closely with Vendor Marketing Managers, Team Leads, Digital Marketing Manager, and sales/technical teams.
Ensures regional operational alignment and compliance across all marketing campaigns and activities.
