Social Media Lead (PR | Global Crypto Exchange)
We are hiring for a global top-tier digital asset exchange, serving millions of users across multiple continents. The company operates in a highly competitive, fast-moving market and is known for strong product execution, deep liquidity, and rapid global expansion.
They are now hiring a Social Media Lead to own global social strategy and executive communications. This role is responsible for the company’s global narrative, sentiment management, and strategic positioning across platforms. You will lead social matrix operations and high-stakes content development, working closely with leadership, PR, and marketing teams to ensure consistent alignment with corporate goals.
We are looking for a strategic leader who is execution-driven and understands the pace and dynamics of the Web3 / exchange industry.
Key Responsibilities
Own the global social media strategy, including platform positioning, content pillars, and the public presence of the CEO’s accounts (primarily X/Twitter)
Manage a multi-platform social media matrix (X/Twitter, Telegram, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, regional platforms, etc.)
Elevate executive thought leadership by developing a cohesive communication strategy across owned, earned, and paid channels
Lead the creation of high-stakes content, including speeches, keynotes, op-eds, blog posts, and LinkedIn articles
Provide strategic counsel and messaging support during sensitive or high-pressure situations to ensure brand safety
Establish clear content governance and workflows to ensure global consistency with local relevance across regional teams
Monitor trends, memes, sentiment, and competitor activity in real time using social listening tools to optimize brand health
Oversee internal and external alignment by managing junior staff, external agencies, and collaborating with PR, Legal, and Marketing teams
Balance growth velocity with compliance awareness and overall brand reputation management
Qualifications & Background
Proven experience leading social media strategy at scale, with a focus on strategic communication and narrative management
Deep familiarity with the Web3 / Crypto / Exchange industry rhythms, user narratives, and market cycles
Strong leadership and executive communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex industry conversations
Exceptional English writing and editing skills, capable of drafting sophisticated content for C-suite executives
A consistent professional track record, with a minimum of 2–3 years spent at each previous organization
Strong strategic instincts — able to “make things happen” while maintaining a professional and authoritative brand voice
