Job Description
We are looking for an Analytics Manager to help guide our Analytics team in Korea. This is a key role for a data expert who understands the local market and wants to help deliver exceptional analytics services for our clients in Seoul.
Reporting directly to the APAC Analytics Lead, your main goal is to connect technical data work with our clients' business goals. You will act as a key advisor for client projects, helping them use their data better, while mentoring and training our local team of junior analysts. Additionally, you will play an important role in supporting the senior leadership team with sales proposals and ensuring the consistent quality of our analytics delivery.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Technical Expert: You must be an expert in the Google Marketing Platform (GA4, GTM) and Visualization (Looker Studio) to guide the team on Web and App projects.
Sales and Proposals (Support): Support the senior leadership team by helping to explain our services to clients in a simple way. You will assist in creating proposals, estimating how many hours a project will take, and calculating the cost.
Team Mentorship: Act as a mentor to junior team members. You will guide their daily tasks, help manage their workload to protect work-life balance, and train them to improve their technical skills.
Client Lead: Act as a key advisor for client projects. You will create long-term measurement plans, run client workshops, and help clients start testing programs (A/B testing).
Quality Control & Documentation: You are responsible for the quality of the work your junior team members produce. This includes reviewing tracking plans (implementation guides) and solving the most difficult technical problems.
Process Improvement: You will actively look for ways to automate processes and improve how the team works to make delivery more efficient.
Qualifications
Team Player: Experience collaborating effectively within a team environment, including mentoring and guiding junior staff. You are comfortable assigning tasks, reviewing work, and supporting the development of your teammates.
Commercial Awareness: Experience supporting client accounts and assisting with project scoping. You understand the basics of agency project delivery and estimating hours.
Native Korean Speaker (Must-have).
Professional English Level (Written & Spoken) is required to work with international teams.
2+ years of total experience in digital analytics. Experience working in an agency is preferred.
Google Expert: Expert mastery of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (Web & App).
Korea Ecosystem: Solid understanding of how to track and attribute traffic from Naver (Search/Shopping) and Kakao environments.
Data & Visualization: Proficiency in SQL, BigQuery, and designing actionable dashboards in Looker Studio.
Technical Depth: Good understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to troubleshoot tracking codes and communicate effectively with developers.
Client-Focused: You enjoy building good relationships with clients and helping their business grow.
Problem Solver: When there is a problem, you work with others to find a practical solution.
Ideally, you will also have (Advantages):
Mobile Analytics: Familiarity with MMPs (AppsFlyer, Adjust, Airbridge) and iOS tracking challenges (SKAdNetwork) is a plus.
Cloud Knowledge: Understanding of Cloud Fundamentals (GCP or AWS) is an advantage.
