Job Description Summary
Lead Tendering - Commercial and Contract Management is responsible fortender, commercial and contract management activities for Product categoriesin GE Vernova Power Transmission, and for collaborating on ITO activitiesacross region. Lead tender, commercial and contract management controlactivity globally and drive consistent functional specifications and commonglobal processes for projects implementation. Activities that are conducted tobetter understand or ultimately meet the expectations of the customerAccountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operationssupervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within awell-defined operations framework. There is generally a step-by-step sequenceof standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve a result.

Roles and Responsibilities
Negotiate as needed to reach the final contract/BAFO.
Review contract/PO and acknowledge to the customer.
Provide technical expertise and develop solutions (configuration, performance estimation, economics, etc.) during the pre-ITO (requisition) process while collaborating with the commercial team.
Possess a deep understanding of relevant markets and customer economic value to support winning bid strategies.
Conduct ITO technical analysis of client needs: product definition and optimization, scope, schedule, industrial scheme, and cost, in line with contract requirements and internal policies.
Calculate plant, system, and equipment performance and efficiency.
Prepare documentation of technical specifications and costing elements for contract execution phases.
Support OTR activities by customizing products and implementing them for specific customer needs.
Develop conceptual knowledge of the professional discipline; may include support roles requiring specialized expertise or broad technical knowledge.
Apply general business knowledge gained through education or experience.
Understand how team contributions impact overall business objectives.
Resolve issues using established procedures; consult supervisors or senior team members for matters outside defined parameters.
Collaborate with others to solve issues.
For customer-facing roles, build strong relationships and serve as the interface between the customer and GE.
Exchange technical information, ask clarifying questions, and ensure mutual understanding.
Sign reviewed contracts or conduct Customer Transfer Meetings and hand over relevant documents to the PM.
Book orders as per signed contract/PO and ensure BL bookings.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Product knowledge, commercial and contract management skills, with the ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
7+ years of experience in Commercial/Project Management.
Collaborative mindset and thought leadership across functional areas.
