Commercial Strategy & Performance Director
Job Title
Commercial Strategy & Performance Director
Job Description
As Commercial Strategy & Performance Director, you are accountable for defining and evolving how IGT-Systems competes and wins in the market. You shape the global commercial strategy and operating model that drives sustainable growth, higher win-rates and effective monetization of the installed base across regions. Operating at enterprise level, you translate strategic priorities into a coherent commercial system, ensuring focus, discipline and measurable impact at scale.
Your role
- Define the future global commercial strategy and operating model for IGT-S. You determine how IGT-S competes and wins, setting direction for opportunity prioritization, commercial focus and performance across the opportunity-to-order lifecycle in line with long-term business strategy.
- Own enterprise-level commercial direction and performance steering. You define and steer global OIT ambitions, commercial priorities and governance in close partnership with Global Revenue Operations, Supply Chain and Regional Business Leaders, ensuring alignment between strategy, execution cadence and outcomes.
- Act as architect of the global commercial system. You design and govern the end-to-end commercial framework, including funnel principles, KPIs, performance management cadence and enabling systems (e.g. CRM/SFDC), to enable scalable, transparent and consistent decision-making.
- Shape upstream commercial choices and portfolio success. In close collaboration with Product Management and Clinical Segments, you embed market and execution insights into PDLM and NPI, influencing investment priorities, launch readiness and commercialization effectiveness.
- Lead global Sales Excellence and Installed Base Management capabilities by directly managing and developing a small, high-impact global team, setting clear priorities, objectives and KPIs and ensuring measurable commercial impact.
- Partner closely with the four Regional Commercial / Business Excellence Leaders to translate global strategy into regional execution, enable best-practice sharing and strengthen performance management while respecting regional accountability.
You're the right fit if
- Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of commercial leadership experience in strategy, performance management, commercial excellence or a comparable enterprise role, preferably in a global and matrixed environment.
- Proven experience managing multi‑disciplinary teams and driving change at scale
- You are recognized for shaping direction, making trade-offs and driving impact, rather than managing analyses or isolated initiatives.
- You leverage data, analytics and AI-enabled tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, advanced dashboards) as enablers for better leadership decisions.
- Fluent in English
