Regional VP of Sales
Regional VP of Sales to lead the Emerging Markets sales team, develop and execute strategies, and drive revenue growth in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic Regional Vice President of Sales to lead our Emerging Markets sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing the strategy to accelerate revenue in industries outside our core verticals. You'll lead a team of sales leaders and Account Executives to identify opportunities, iterate on new sales motions, and establish scalable processes for long-term growth.
This is a high-impact role for a growth-minded sales leader with a proven track record of leading teams through change, building into new markets, and delivering results in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
What you will be doing:
- Lead and grow a team of frontline Sales Managers and AEs focused on breaking into new verticals
- Develop and execute the go-to-market plan for emerging industries — including segmentation, messaging, playbooks, and KPIs
- Own team forecasting, pipeline health, and performance metrics; report regularly on progress to senior leadership
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Revenue Operations to optimize positioning and accelerate adoption
- Drive operational excellence, helping scale repeatable sales processes while staying agile as the business evolves
- Inspire a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Represent Podium at key customer and industry events to drive awareness and thought leadership in new markets
What you should have:
- 8+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with 3+ years in a senior sales leadership role
- Experience leading high-performing teams selling into SMB and/or mid-market segments
- Strong track record of entering new markets and building scalable sales engines
- Exceptional leadership skills — ability to attract, develop, and retain top sales talent
- Strategic thinker with a bias for action; highly analytical and results-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, constantly evolving environment
- Strong collaboration skills; thrives in cross-functional settings
- Deep understanding of SaaS sales metrics and tools (e.g., Salesforce, Gong)
- Must be able to work onsite (Monday-Friday) in our Lehi, Utah office
