We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team supporting Spanish payroll operations. The successful candidate will contribute to the execution and administration of payroll activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery according to agreed calendars and KPIs.
This role is ideal for someone with at least 1 year of experience in the Spanish payroll cycle who is motivated to continue developing professionally in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the administration of the full Spanish payroll cycle (monthly payroll processing, variable inputs, terminations, sick leave, Social Security contributions, income tax calculations, etc.).
Ensure payroll is processed accurately and in line with agreed deadlines and KPIs.
Respond to client and internal queries related to payroll and Spanish labor legislation.
Maintain and update employee data within payroll and HR systems.
Manage tickets and requests within agreed SLA timelines.
Ensure compliance with Spanish labor and tax regulations.
Complete internal controls and maintain required documentation and evidence.
Report system issues or deviations from scope to the Service Manager.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Follow detailed working instructions and support process documentation updates.
Requirements
Mandatory:
Availability to work in a hybrid model, including regular attendance at the Granada office.
Minimum 1 year of experience in tasks related to the Spanish payroll cycle.
Basic knowledge of Spanish labor and tax legislation.
Proficiency in MS Office tools (especially Excel).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Proactive attitude and strong willingness to learn.
Desirable:
Experience in HR consulting, HR outsourcing, or corporate payroll environments.
Knowledge of HRIS or payroll systems.
Experience handling HR and payroll data.
