Sr Quality Assurance Analyst
Role OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Quality Analyst to support a regulated US Healthcare platform. This role requires strong domain understanding and the ability to independently validate complex, rule-driven, data-intensive systems in an Agile environment. The Senior QA operates with minimal supervision and owns quality for assigned modules.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive functional, integration, and regression test scenarios
- Validate complex rule-driven workflows and exception handling logic
- Perform advanced database validation using SQL
- Validate compliance-sensitive business logic within healthcare systems
- Perform negative testing and edge-case validation
- Support production defect analysis and root cause investigation
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and BA teams
- Mentor junior QA analysts
Mandatory Skills & Experience
Domain Expertise (Required)
- 4–6 years of experience in US Healthcare technology
- Strong understanding of the US healthcare claims lifecycle and the ability to analyze issues, investigate data, and debug problems across application and database layers.
- Experience with Submissions workflows or risk adjustment is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with government-sponsored programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, and Advantage plans is expected.
- At a minimum, candidates should understand end-to-end claims processing on the clearinghouse or payer side.
Technical Expertise
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes
- SQL & Data Investigation – Strong SQL skills are required, including the ability to query data, validate scenarios, and investigate issues.
- Experience working with Amazon RDS (SQL Server) and analytical platforms such as Amazon Redshift is preferred, though experience with similar relational databases or data warehouse technologies is acceptable
- Testing Practices & Process Improvement – Solid understanding of testing processes including functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Ability to identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency, optimize test coverage, and enhance overall QA practices.
- Programming & Automation – Working knowledge of programming concepts, with Python preferred, and the ability to define, contribute to, or implement automation frameworks where appropriate
Good to Have
- Experience in submissions workflows or clearinghouse-integrated systems
- Hands-on automation scripting experience (Selenium or similar tools)
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, or Risk Adjustment workflows
- Testing certification (ISTQB, CSTE)
