As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development of control systems used in pumping automation. These systems play an important role in ensuring reliable operation, high energy efficiency, and long-term value for our customers - from machine level to cloud connectivity.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with product owners, system engineers, and test engineers, contributing across the full development lifecycle — from requirements and architecture to implementation, verification, and deployment. The role also includes hands-on work in our lab, as well as occasional visits to customer sites to better understand real-world applications.

While this is not a managerial role, you will have the opportunity to act as a technical mentor, contribute to best practices, and participate in technical discussions that help shape the direction of the team.

You will be part of a collaborative team where knowledge sharing and continuous learning are valued.

Key Responsibilties:

Design, develop and maintain embedded software for control systems in our products
Contribute to software architecture, technical decisions and long‑term maintainability
Develop robust and testable solutions using modern embedded software practices
Collaborate cross‑functionally with product owners, test engineers and other R&D teams
Drive continuous improvements in ways of working, tools and code quality

Qualifications

Experience in embedded software development using C / C++
Experience working with real-time operating systems (e.g., Zephyr or similar)
Understanding of software architecture and design for embedded systems
Experience with unit testing, static code analysis, and quality-focused development practices
Experience with version control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Good communication skills in English
Knowledge of Swedish is considered a plus
