*Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (hybrid – 1/2 days per week in office)*

About the role:
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Collections Specialist to manage our Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) accounts portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting graduate or early-career professional who wants to build strong commercial finance experience in a dynamic, international environment.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow, building strong client relationships, and collaborating with internal stakeholders as well as ensuring compliance with company credit and collections policies, all while developing your expertise in accounts receivable and collections.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the collection of outstanding debts across a large debtor portfolio for both Australia and New Zealand
- Handle inbound and outbound account calls and respond to customer enquiries in a timely manner
- Perform bank reconciliations and support other finance tasks as required
- Process and raise rebilling invoices and credit notes
- Process client refunds and credit card payments
- Perform credit checks in line with company credit policies
- Provide commentary on overdue accounts to support the preparation of Aged Debtors reports
- Liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve billing issues
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- A degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1–2 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable (fresh graduates with strong attitudes and relevant internship experience are welcome to apply)
- Solid Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas)
- Strong written and spoken English, with confidence in client-facing communication
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong accountability and ownership mindset
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach with good time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
