Overnight Dispatcher (Temporary)
About the Opportunity
We are looking for a Dispatch Support Specialist who will facilitate same-day deliveries across the whole US including Dispatching Runs, Communicating with Cross-Functional Teams, and Daily interaction with Driver Agents.
What you'll do:
- Dispatch deliveries in assigned markets and create efficient routes given driver schedules, customer needs and service level due times.
- Display mastery of the CXT dispatch system.
- Communicate directly with customers via phone and email in order to resolve issues quickly while maintaining a calm, professional tone both verbally and in writing
- Display mastery of Dialpad and Zendesk, our telephone and ticketing systems
- Provide direct, efficient communication and immediate feedback to drivers
- Achieve on-time delivery metrics of 90%+ for all markets assigned.
- Provide positive, ongoing feedback to General Managers, City Managers and Supervisors regarding driver supply needs and the performance of specific drivers.
- Learn your market(s) ensuring full comprehensive knowledge of clients, drivers, and specific needs of the market.
- Be available to work assigned shifts with flexibility to work through shift changes as needed including weekends and holidays.
Requirements:
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Customer service skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to master new software technologies and eager to learn and adapt to changing market conditions
- Demonstrated ability to run operationally efficient projects and teams
- True passion for logistics and the execution of rigorous business practices
- Knowledgeable on Google Office Suite and Zendesk
