The Opportunity
This position works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Diabetes Care division where we are focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.
The Senior Manager, Advanced Portfolio Analytics & Insights leads the design, development, and delivery of advanced analytical frameworks that guide strategic decision-making across the enterprise portfolio. This role provides quantitative modeling, scenario analysis, and data‑driven insights that inform investment priorities, resource allocation, and long-range planning. The position blends technical expertise with strategic foresight, including the development of an AI roadmap for the PMO to elevate organizational maturity and operational excellence.
What You’ll Work On
Portfolio Analytics & Modeling
- Build advanced financial, operational, and scenario-based models to assess portfolio performance, strategic initiatives, and long-term projections.
- Conduct sensitivity analyses, risk modeling, and ROI/impact estimations to guide investment decisions.
- Translate complex analytics into concise, actionable insights for executive audiences.
AI Roadmap & PMO Modernization
- Lead the creation and implementation of an AI Roadmap for the Project Management Office (PMO), defining strategic opportunities to integrate AI into portfolio governance, project delivery, forecasting, and risk management.
- Evaluate emerging AI capabilities—including generative AI, predictive analytics, and automation—to identify high-value use cases and operational efficiencies.
- Partner with PMO leadership to prioritize AI initiatives, establish adoption pathways, and embed data/AI capabilities into PMO processes, tooling, and decision-making frameworks.
- Drive cross-functional alignment to ensure AI integration enhances transparency, accelerates insights, and elevates overall portfolio performance.
Strategic Insights & Decision Support
- Provide strategic analyses and decision support to senior leadership, focusing on portfolio health, trends, and risk/opportunity signals.
- Deliver executive-ready presentations and strategic recommendations that influence enterprise planning and prioritization.
- Develop future-state scenarios to support long-range strategy and transformation planning.
Data Infrastructure & Analytics Enablement
- Collaborate with data engineering, IT, and BI teams to enhance data transparency, quality, and analytical capabilities.
- Improve dashboards, KPI frameworks, and reporting structures to strengthen portfolio oversight.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead analytical workstreams across strategy, finance, product, and operations to ensure alignment and data-driven decision-making.
- Mentor analysts, promote best practices in quantitative analysis, and elevate the organization’s analytics capability.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Communicate complex analytical insights through compelling narratives tailored to diverse audiences.
- Manage expectations, deliverables, and timelines across multi-stakeholder initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a discipline appropriate to the project or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Minimum 10 years of related work experience.
Has successfully led several high complexity projects from beginning to end.
Demonstrated technical skills and management judgment appropriate to the project.
Strong expertise in quantitative analysis, forecasting, scenario modeling, and portfolio management.
Advanced proficiency with analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Python/R, BI platforms).
Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence at senior levels.
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in strategy, analytics, or PMO environments_._
Preferred Qualifications
Require strong leadership, influencing, and negotiation skills.
Experience with AI/ML concepts, predictive analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.
Experience in commercial/sales process management.
Knowledge of enterprise portfolio management tools and modern PMO best practices.
Ability to build roadmaps, business cases, and multi-year strategic plans.

The base pay for this position is
$148,700.00 – $297,300.00
