The Optical engineer will work with cross-functions in supporting NPD and sustaining projects, including new products development, existing products upgrade and design changes.

Working with mechanical/ electronical/ system engineers, designing Optical-Mechanical-Electronics structure, and corresponding method of optical adjustment and assessment.

Design the appropriate optical verification method, conduct the verification and validation of optical system.

Transfer the design to production and solve related technical issues.

Ensure reliability, performance and delivery through relationships with both internal and external manufacturing and supplier base.

Designing documentation management, responsible for editing and reviewing technical documentation of the optical parts in various stages of the project preparation and review.

Responsible for the analysis of the causes of post-market product failure, writing design documentation and validation reports, and implementing design changes.

Organizes and actively participates in design reviews and project reviews.
组织并积极参与设计审查和项目审查。
Utilize Danaher Business System (DBS) tools in daily work and help to drive compliance and effective processes.

Provide technical support to production and strategy sourcing team.

Functional Knowledge 职能知识：

Requires conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
Has a certain in-depth understanding of laser optics, imaging optics, and opto-electronic detection, has practical development experience.

Has a certain understanding of optical design, familiar with optical adjustment and assessment, while has a strong capability to analysis and deal with optical problems.

Familiar with the optical component processing and coating technique, and the corresponding assessment methods.
熟悉光学元件的加工及镀膜工艺，并熟悉相应的检测方法。
Familiar with optical signal detection, familiar with opto-electronic components features and selection (e.g. LD/ APD/ CMOS).
熟悉光信号的检测，掌握典型光电元器件的特性和选型（如LD/ APD/ CMOS）。
Know the operating method and test principle of optical test instrument (e.g. power meter, spectrometer, beam profile).
了解光学检测设备的使用方法和测量原理(如功率计,光谱仪,光束质量分析仪)。
Skilled in using at least one kind of optical software and 3D software (e.g. Zemax/ Solidworks).

Must possess strong verbal communication and written skills (Mandarin Chinese and English).
