Senior Product Manager (Internal AI Tools)
Seeking a Senior Product Manager to build AI-powered internal tools for coaches and instructors, requiring 5+ years of product management experience and hands-on AI/no-code fluency.
Product Manager, Internal AI Tools
At Multiverse, we've built a new model for transforming today's workforce by combining expert human coaching with AI. We're on a mission to equip workers with the skills they need to win in the AI era.
We are seeking a Product Manager who is not just familiar with, but fluent in, agentic AI and no-code platforms. This is a role for someone who leverages AI tools as their first instinct to solve a problem.
The Role
You will be responsible for conceiving and building the AI-powered tools that are essential to the success of our most important internal users: our 200+ coaches and instructors. This includes a growing suite of AI Agents and user-friendly front-ends to our data warehouse, directly empowering our teams to deliver a world-class learning experience to our 15,000+ apprentices.
This is an individual contributor role, ideal for a highly effective operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will drive change not only through product delivery but also through influence, rigorous follow-up, and the ability to solve ambiguous problems. You will work with a wide range of internal stakeholders and manage external contractors, rather than working within a traditional engineering squad.
What You'll Do
You will own the end-to-end lifecycle for our internal AI and no-code products. We've grouped the key responsibilities into three core themes:
1. Strategy & Discovery
Define the Vision & Roadmap: Own the product strategy for our internal AI and no-code tools, ensuring alignment with our coaches, instructors, and company goals.
Deep User Empathy: Conduct continuous user research (interviews, workshops) to gain deep insights into the workflows, pain points, and needs of our internal teams.
Prioritize for Impact: Ruthlessly define and prioritize features and projects based on user impact, business value, and technical feasibility, turning long-term goals into actionable, iterative steps.
2. AI-First Execution & Delivery
Build & Ship AI-First Solutions: Lead the end-to-end development of internal tools—from rapid prototyping to full-scale deployment—using no-code platforms (like Retool), agentic frameworks (like Zapier/n8n), and data warehouse front-ends.
Drive Adoption & Measure Success: Manage the launch of new tools, define and analyze key metrics (e.g., efficiency gains, user satisfaction), and iterate based on data.
Collaborate on Data Architecture: Partner with engineering and data teams to define the data pipelines, analytics, and infrastructure needed to power your tools, ensuring security, privacy, and ethical AI use.
3. Collaboration & Operational Excellence
Lead Through Influence: Act as a trusted partner to senior operations and learning leaders, communicating complex concepts simply and making well-informed recommendations.
Manage the Tooling Ecosystem: Own the inventory of our deployed internal tools and the backlog for improvements, effectively resolving urgent issues and removing obstacles.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for a specific blend of technical, product, and personal skills.
Core Experience & Skills
Product Management: 5+ years of product management experience, ideally working on automations, AI/ML-adjacent products, or data warehouse front-ends.
Hands-On No-Code/AI Fluency: Deep, hands-on experience building and integrating tools with no-code/low-code platforms (e.g., Retool, Replit), agentic platforms (e.g., Zapier, n8n), and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake).
Generative AI Expertise: Proven fluency in modern AI capabilities, including generative AI and prompt engineering, with a track record of applying them to solve real-world business problems.
Data Fluency: Strong ability to define and track metrics, understand data models, and collaborate effectively with data and engineering teams.
Stakeholder Management: A proven ability to manage senior stakeholders, influence without direct authority, and drive complex projects cross-functionally.
About You
User-Obsessed: You are passionate about understanding user needs and skilled in a variety of user research methods.
An "Operator" at Heart: You have a bias for action, can turn ambiguity into a clear plan, and have a strong sense of maintainability, security, and performance.
Trusted Collaborator: You are a source of developmental feedback for peers and help create an inclusive environment where different perspectives are welcomed.
Ethical & Secure Mindset: A strong understanding of the privacy, security, and ethical implications of AI, especially in an educational context.
Bonus Points
Experience in EdTech.
Direct experience building and maintaining internal tools that a large team depends on.
Success in Your First 90 Days Looks Like...
Rebuild & Deliver: You will have rebuilt at least one legacy tool, delivering a measurable efficiency improvement (e.g., reducing coach prep or administrative tasks by X hours per week).
Establish Baselines: You will have defined and begun tracking baseline metrics (usage, satisfaction, reliability) for our key internal tools.
Build the Roadmap: You will have conducted workshops with key stakeholders (coaches, instructors, ops) to map the current tool landscape and user pain points.
Prioritize for Impact: You will have established a clear, prioritized roadmap for internal tools that balances business impact, maintenance needs, and technical risk.
