Job Description
The Premium Operations Associate is responsible for interpreting, analyzing, and processing various activities in support of property and casualty insurance operations. The candidate will need to perform activities with a high degree of accuracy and consistently meet service level requirements. This position will be part of the Premium Operations team.
Responsibilities:
Review submissions and record premium details accurately
Perform validations and review to confirm accuracy of data recorded
Prepare and issue documents and reports accurately, as per specifications
Interact with team and customers as required to complete deliverables
Communicate issues or queries on a timely basis to ensure quick resolution
Assist with troubleshooting and improving processes, as needed
Perform special project as assigned
Qualifications
Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in the English language
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
Detail- and quality-minded with a keen eye for identifying process opportunities and driving continuous operational improvements
Collaborative and team-oriented with ability to execute within an international team
Proficient knowledge of Excel and Word with a willingness to learn new technical tools
Flexible with changing requirements and ability to learn new processes quickly
Additional Information
- B.S. Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar
- Beginner to intermediate level working knowledge of insurance, finance, or administrative operations
- Experience with automation and process-optimization tools to streamline workflows
