Educational Qualification: B.A/B.Sc/B.Com
Experience: 4-6 Years
Job Description:
A Document Specialist will be responsible for proofreading and formatting the electronic/paper documents & forms as per the business requirements with 100% accuracy. Should understand clearly the client’s specific requirements as well as instructions to proofread, merge and format documents in MS-Word or PDF formats.
Required Skills:
Strong word-processing skills & proficiency in using documentation tools (Adobe Acrobat Professional, MS-Office Suite - Microsoft Word in particular, image capturing/editing tools like SnagIT), knowledge of templates & complex document formats.
Knowledge and usage of industry standard documentation tools and guidelines.
Ability to estimate time and effort for documentation projects and meeting the Business SLAs on time with quality.
Hands on experience in reviewing the documents and delivering high quality, accurate and reliable end-user documentation artifacts/templates/forms which satisfy the customer requirements.
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills (both written & verbal).
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to grasp and communicate technical and functional concepts concisely and effectively.
Should have the desire to effectively participate in reviews of authored content, and should ensure timely response with corrections.
Flexibility to work in rotational shifts based on business needs.
Strong work ethics & the ability to work in a team environment.
Exposure to insurance & mortgage domain would be an added advantage.
Basic knowledge of SQL and JSON would be an added advantage.
