Global Supply Manager
Seeking a Global Supply Manager to manage sourcing and procurement of commodities, negotiate contracts, ensure on-time delivery, and maintain product quality. Requires 5+ years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end sourcing strategies for electronic components to support our product roadmap
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with global suppliers to secure the best commercial agreements possible
- Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships, conducting regular performance assessments to ensure quality and consistency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Operations) to align on component specifications and delivery timelines
- Manage purchase orders and logistics to guarantee on-time delivery and optimize inventory levels
- Identify supply chain risks and implement proactive solutions to mitigate potential disruptions
- Maintain a balance between immediate operational goals (cost targets, lead times) and long-term supplier development strategies
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, reduce costs, and improve supply chain efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus)
- 5+ years of global procurement or supply management experience with a focus on electronics commodities
- Proven success in negotiating complex supplier agreements and driving cost-reduction initiatives
- Strong understanding of quality standards, compliance requirements, and logistics in hardware-focused environments
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong cross-functional partnerships
- Solid analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a track record of developing both short-term plans and long-term supplier strategies
Bonus Qualifications:
- An engineering degree or equivalent technical background
- Previous experience working in a startup or on a lean team
- Prior exposure to robotics or advanced hardware manufacturing
The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $140,000 - $220,000 annually.
