Strategic Creative Copywriter
Develop creative concepts, write persuasive copy, collaborate with art and design teams, present ideas, and stay updated on market trends.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Develop Creative Concepts for Marketing Campaigns and Digital Projects
- Work in the initial phases of projects to generate innovative and fresh ideas aligned with client goals and campaign strategies
- Create original and relevant campaign concepts for target audiences, adaptable across various media (TV, digital, print, etc.)
- Lead and participate in brainstorming sessions, challenging conventional approaches
Write Persuasive and Effective Copy for Various Media
- Create attention-grabbing copy for digital and traditional platforms
- Adapt tone, style, and format according to the medium and specific audience, while maintaining a consistent brand narrative
Collaborate Closely with the Art and Design Team
- Work together with the art team to ensure a cohesive creative vision, with text and visual elements complementing each other
- Coordinate with content strategists and marketing teams to ensure messages are relevant, effective, and aligned with the overall campaign strategy
- Participate in creative reviews, providing constructive feedback on art direction and visual elements with copy
Present and Defend Creative Ideas Internally and to Clients
- Prepare clear and persuasive presentations that explain the creative concept behind a campaign, how it aligns with client goals, and why it is the best solution
- Articulate the reasoning behind creative decisions and be open to feedback, adjusting ideas as necessary without losing the creative essence
- Maintain fluid and professional communication with clients, managing their expectations and ensuring they feel involved in the creative process
Research and Stay Up-to-Date with Market Trends, Consumer Insights, and Advertising Language Evolution Across Markets
- Continuously research new trends in advertising, digital marketing, popular culture, and consumer behaviour
- Utilise consumer data and insights to craft messages that resonate with the audience and are culturally relevant
- Experiment with new communication forms and language, adapting industry best practices to stay at the forefront of creativity
Manage Multiple Project Phases Simultaneously, Ensuring Timely Delivery:
- Effectively organise and prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality
- Be prepared to handle multiple projects simultaneously, from large campaigns to smaller, detailed tasks, ensuring everything is delivered on time
- Collaborate with project management and traffic teams to coordinate deliveries and resources, maintaining constant communication about the progress of each project
ABOUT YOU:
- Native level of proficiency in oral and written English and Spanish. French, Portuguese, German, or Italian are a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably focused on marketing, advertising, or a related field
- Deep passion for creative concept development in marketing campaigns, with a solid understanding of digital and traditional media
- At least 4 years of experience in creative roles such as copywriter, creative director, or similar positions
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to generate innovative and fresh ideas aligned with client objectives and overall campaign strategies
- A proactive, can-do attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to the fast-paced environment of a digital agency
- Strong aesthetic sense and ability to provide clear feedback on visual and textual elements
- You are based in or able to relocate to Madrid, Spain
