IT Business Analyst

Colombia, Remote.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Business Analyst to support cross-functional initiatives by translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders, end-users, and technical teams to document current processes, identify gaps, and help define future-state solutions. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in agile environments, has strong analytical and communication skills, and can bridge the gap between business and technology (software development) while ensuring projects are delivered effectively and smoothly transitioned to internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Effectively document current state, through observation and interviews with key stakeholders and primary end-users.
• Gather requirements from end-users and other key stakeholders to establish the gaps between current state and future state.
• Create business requirement and user stories, acceptance criteria and test cases based on project methodology, and obtain sign-off from key stakeholders, ensure scope of project is communicated and accepted.
• Collaborate with the Business Analyst Team and Developers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Coordinate project completion, documentation, and transition to close with internal Marco teams.

Requirements

• Advanced English B2+/C2.
• Relevant experience with software development/technical projects.
• Experience working with agile methodologies.
• Proficiency with regular BA tools (Power BI, Excel, SQL).
• Schedule flexibility.
