Electrical Systems Test and Integration Engineer
Seeking an Electrical Systems Test & Integration Engineer to create test systems and support avionics development, qualification, and validation.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The Air Dominance and Strike (AD&S) Electrical Engineering Team is responsible for developing high-reliability avionics, embedded processing, and power systems for Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms. Working across hardware, software, and mission autonomy, the team delivers flight-critical electronics, PCB assemblies, and FPGA-based processing architectures that enable Anduril's next-generation autonomous air platforms to operate in complex and contested environments. AD&S Electrical Engineers drive end-to-end development, from system architecture and circuit design to verification, integration, and flight test, ensuring scalable, mission-ready solutions that meet the performance, reliability, and survivability demands of the U.S. Military and modern air warfare.
ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for an Electrical System Test & Integration Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, CA. In this role, you will work closely with avionics, system, and software engineers to create test systems for development, qualification, verification, and validation purposes. WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Create test systems to support all phases of product development.
- Build up and test of avionics system components through lab, ground, and flight tests
- Manage concurrent involvement in multiple projects at various stages
- Participate in design reviews and provide input to identify issues and drive design choices
- Conduct root cause analysis in support of vehicle integration and field operations
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- 3+ years hands on experience in using LabVIEW and NI hardware (e.g., PXI, cDAQ, cRIO)
- 3+ years design experience with NX CAD software for 3D modeling and drafting.
- Proficient in designing electrical harnessing for rugged commercial, industrial, aerospace, or military applications
- Familiarity with common electrical bus interfaces (CAN, Ethernet, RS422, RS232, MIL-STD-1553)
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experienced and familiar with aircraft avionics module vendors and avionics component suppliers in UAS programs
US Salary Range
$129,000—$171,000 USD
