Position: Contract Administrator
Salary: PHP80,000-PHP100,000
Work Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM AEST
OVERVIEW:
The client is seeking a highly organized and commercially-minded Contract Administrator to support their Australian commercial fit-out projects. Working remotely, you will be responsible for the financial and contractual administration of projects, ensuring all subcontract and head contract requirements are met with precision. You will work in alignment with RCC Management to ensure project profitability and compliance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Subcontract & Procurement Management
- Procurement: Initiate and manage the subcontract and supplier procurement process, including raising purchase orders and organizing payments.
- Contract Administration: Assist in the preparation and distribution of required notices, including Extension of Time (EOT), Variation Notices, and Delay Notices.
- Novation: Assist in the novation of Consultant Agreements where relevant for Design & Construct (D&C) projects.
- Dispute Support: Ensure subcontract matters in dispute are escalated and handled in a consultative manner.
2. Financial Reporting & Document Control
- Cost Reporting: Prepare accurate, timely, and up-to-date cost reports in conjunction with the Project Manager.
- Claims Management: Assist with Progress Payment Claim submissions and maintain the Subcontract Trade Package Letting / Procurement Register.
- System Compliance: Setup and manage commercial procedures within Procore and internal systems (e.g., CHEOPS, CrookesNet) to ensure compliance throughout the project duration.
- Handover: Assist in the preparation of all required Handover Documentation.
3. Safety & People Management
- Administrative Support: Participate in required training or workshops and ensure all safety-related documentation for the project is filed correctly.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must-Haves
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in Contract Administration or Quantity Surveying within the Commercial Fit-out or Construction sector, specifically with AU clients.
- Project Tools: Advanced proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
- Office Suite: Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Logic: Strong understanding of construction sequencing, trade scopes, and financial "take-offs."
- Communication: Superior written English skills for drafting formal contractual correspondence.
Nice to Have
- Contractual Knowledge: Familiarity with Australian Standard (AS) Contracts and fundamental Contract Law principles.
- Regulatory Awareness: A working understanding of the Security of Payment Act (SOPA) and the Building Code of Australia (BCA).
- Software: Previous experience with CHEOPS, Aconex, or similar construction ERP systems.
