At Reddit, the ML Feature Platform is kind of a big deal — it’s the toolkit that every ML team relies on. As a Software Engineer, ML Feature Platform, you’ll get to tinker with data at Reddit scale, make it fast and reliable, and ship features that directly shape how people find memes, news, friends, and everything in between. This person will be instrumental in architecting, implementing, and maintaining foundational ML infrastructure used to compute, store and retrieve features powering Feeds Ranking, Content Understanding, Recommendations, Ads, and much more to fulfill Reddit’s mission of bringing community and belonging to everyone in the world.
Who You Might Be:
- 2-3+ years of work experience in a production software development environment
- Experience working on large-scale systems serving 100s of millions of users
- Experience building production-quality code incorporating testing, evaluation, and monitoring using object-oriented programming, including experience in Python, Scala, and golang.
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Knowledge of maintaining or developing applications using large-scale open source data stack, e.g, Kafka, Flink, Cassandra, Redis
- Comfortable with distributed systems, big data (Petabyte scale) and data-intensive systems
- Strong organizational & communication skills
