The Area Manager will be responsible for the commercial sales operation for their area. Utilize the Solenis Vision, Mission and Cultural Beliefs to lead the people in the territory and deliver solutions and value to Solenis customers, new and existing. Develop and Execute growth strategies for the business and skill development strategies for team members.
For this role we will consider someone who can be located in or around Dallas, Lawton, Waco or Austin.
Safety
Lead and manage safety for the team
Ensure team members are completing proactive safety measures
Identify opportunities for safety improvements
Utilize safety discussions to prevent complacency
Sales Operations
Safely meet and ideally exceed business plan for Revenue, Gross Profit and Operating Profit
Manage cost budget
Ensure value is being delivered and documented to customers
Provide sales forecasts for revenue and gross profit
Work with sales team to maintain a realistic sales funnel
Establish and maintain high level customer relationships at key accounts
Utilize customer feedback to improve the Solenis experience
Team Development
Coach and Lead team for technical and selling strategies
Utilize Solenis resources such as TREK to build competencies / skill sets in direct reports and indirect reports
Work with District Manager to properly resource accounts and accommodate new business opportunities
Open lines of communications and forums for team members to communicate/collaborate about sales targets and opportunities
Vision for the Future
Continuously work to develop the sales and service team
Maintain a healthy sales opportunity funnel
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in chemical engineering, pulp and paper science or will consider relevant experience
Approximately 7+ years of experience in Pulp & Paper

The expected compensation range for this position is between $102,130.00 and $170,200.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
